With FrontPage 2002 and 2003, a new feature has been added, allowing the use of a wizard to create add / remove / edit and display pages.
This is called the Database Interface Wizard (DIW)
It is available by adding a new page or web from the file menu

Now select "Web site templates"

Choose the DIW either as a new web or, more than likely, add to your current web

Step 1 allows you to either use an existing connection (You have imported a database and made a connection) or to create your own new database

We add our connection name.

Then we define the fields and field types we need for our new database

Our database is now ready, so we continue.

With the DIW, we can add different pages that use the database.
The results page is basically the same as the 2000 DRW. The results are queried and displayed in a format you select.
The first view is tabular.
A submission form can be shown, to allow users to add new records. A default confirmation page is used.
You may also select a full database editor, which allows the adding, editing and deleting of records.
These are presented in a frames view for easy navigation.

If necessary, security can be set (using cookies) to protect your edit pages.
A login is requested when entering these pages.

Your database web is now complete!
