Building Your Own Themes
Good designers can build custom themes to work in
concert with sophisticated layout templates and
FrontPage 2000 Navigation Bars to produce a look and
feel that works with the site owner -- allowing for
easy updates, page additions/deletions, and fast
redesigns.
FrontPage 2000/02 allows you to use the
Themes view to edit existing themes or create new
ones. Just click the "Modify" button. Then save as a
new them to create your own.
Note that you can build your themes
with "Active Graphics" (navigation image rollovers) on
or off. If you build your custom theme with "Active
Graphics" off and then apply your theme with "Active
Graphics" on (or vice versa,) you will not end up with
the theme elements you want. If you want to build a
complete theme, build it with Active Graphics on. Then
build it again with "Active Graphics" off. Do the same
with "Vivid Colors" and background image.
Packaging your FrontPage themes
for resale.

custom FrontPage themes for resale. It also makes your
themes compatible with both FrontPage 98 as well as
FrontPage 2000/02.
